Barcelona - The city of Marvels

Hi there!
Barcelona - one of the most popular tourists' destination in Spain. It's the capital city of Catalonia, a region located in the Mediterranean coast.
The city is famous thanks to the 19th century modernist architecture. The best known of those building was design by Antonio Gaudi - Sagrada Familia. It's an unfinished church. I saw it few years ago and it's one of the most precious building that I have ever seen.
Beside that Park Guell is another unusual place. It's a public park system composted of gardens and architectonics elements. My favourite part is the multicoloured mosaic salamander which is located at the main entrance.
Casa Mila is another monument designed by Gaudi. The facade it's really innovative. In 1984, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Barcelona is not only an architecture. This city is full on different culture. You can meet so many people that have an amazing personality. Everyone seems happy there.
It's a city that I would like to visit over and over again. It has this unique vibe that I really enjoy.
Everyone should go to Barcelona and just relax. Look through the city and appreciate the view and the surrounding.
Barcelona - city that never sleep and that will never get bored.

Luigi Pirandella "Six Characters in search of an Author" book review

Luigi Pirandello - one of the best Italian writer. I decided to write my master's thesis about this author. One of the book that I am going to analyse is already mention in the tittle "Six Characters in search of an Author". I would like to present this book and recommend it.
It's a play written and first performer in 1921. It premiered in the Theatre Valle in Rome and it wasn't the best premier. A reaction was rather negative and audience didn't enjoy it. In a short time the reactions changed and it was named one of the best play in the history of theatre.
This play start with the preparation of an acting company to rehearse other play. When the play was about to begin, it's interrupted by a group of six people, that considered themselves as actors. One of them, the Father is saying that there are unfinished characters in search of an author to finish their story. The Director is shocked and starts to listen their story. They recount their life and their really difficult relation with themselves. After listening to their tangle story, the Director decided to perform it. Characters are really serious and particular about the scene, so they want everything to be as realistic as possible. The scene begins between the Madame Pace and Stepdaughter. The line between reality and acting is blurred. We don't know any more what is the truth and what is just a play.
The scene ends in a dramatic way, because there are two suicides. However, I wouldn't say who and why, because you have to read the book to find out.
The message that Pirandello wanted to present through this play is that everything is a fiction. We don't know any more what is real, what is the truth. Also, we change all the time. We wear different masks. There are not permanent line, everything fleets. We don't know who we are any more. Life is a journey that can be change in every moment.
I think that this play is fantastic and everyone should read it.

Foreign cosmetics brand easy accessible in polish Sephora

Hi there!
Today I decided to write about the situation that is happening in cosmetic store in Poland, in particular in Sephora. Recently, there are a lot of new cosmetics brands that appeared there, like Anastasia Beverly Hills, Too Faced, Urban Decay and many more. In the past it was really difficult to buy products from those brand, because there were only available online. Now there are easy accessible and everyone can buy them, obviously if they can afford them.
I think that it's really cool that brand from United States or England want to sale their products in Poland. It means that our country is in a constant development. On the other side, for me, those brand now are not that exciting how it was in the past. Few year ago when I bought something in a foreign country that wasn't available in Poland, it was really exciting, because pretty much no one had this product. Now it changed and sometimes it gets a bit difficult to have something original, that no one has. It may seem weird, but that's the truth. We always want something that we can't have in easy access. When we have it or it's really easy to have it, it doesn't get exciting any more.
To sum up, I'am really happy that there are a lot of different brands in Sephora. We can go and just buy them. Also, we can see products in a store so it's more convenient to choose our shade or to swatch a product. We don't have to spend hours searching online to find products and also we don't have to pay for the shipping which sometimes can be really expensive.
However, with these phenomena the value of this brand has changed. Now they are not that "cool" as they were in the past. Maybe I'm the only one that think that way.

Venice - a beautiful city that may disappear

Hi there!
Today I would like to write few words about one of the most popular cities in Italy - Venice.
A city that is unique, because is separated by canals and linked by over 400 bridges. Every time when you visit this city, it might by your last time. Why? Because the city has a huge problem with water and to more precise the ground is made from mud and every year Venice sinks a few millimetres. Beside that this city it's still the most popular attraction in north-east Italy.
There are few ways to visit this city. You can walk around, but also you can use the vaporetto which are very popular. It's a water bus which carries a lot of people around the city. Unfortunately it doesn't enter the small canals of the city. To visit that you must use gondola, but they are quite expensive. I think it's worth the splurge, especially during a romantic trip with a loved one.
Venice has an incredible culture, traditions and crafts. There are tuns of masks that you can buy, because of the famous Venice Carnival.
I visited Venice two years ago. It wasn't the first time that I have been in this lovely city. It really beautiful and magnificent. The only downside are prices. Everything it's really expensive, especially food. Even espresso can cost 8 euros. In comparison, in other part of Italy espresso typically cost 1-2 euros.
It's a beautiful city that everyone should visit at least once in their life.

Kler - nothing human is alien to me

Hi there!
Kler - a film title that probably everyone has heard of. A movie that in first weekend has been watched by almost 1 million people. Is beating every record when it comes to the number of video views. I want to the cinema to find out what is all about.
This movie is produced to present the inside of the church. Things that are happening of the daily basis in Curia, in a small parish located in countryside and a parish in a city. The story is about 3 main characters: Priest Listowski which works in a parish in a big city. He has a dream to be transfer to Vatican. The situation is impeded by Archbishop that wants to build the biggest sanctuary in Poland. Priest Trybus works in a small parish and is having human problems like women and alcohol. Priest Kukuła is really close to God, but after some incidents his faith is going through a difficult time.
This movie is really difficult to talk about. In my opinion it's impossible to tell if I enjoyed that film or not. The final scene is intensive and when movie finished everyone left a cinema in a silent.
I'm not sure it the movie is based on real story or it's just so fabricated. If it's true, I won't even think about that.
Everyone should watch it and just think. What can be done to change and improve this situation. It's really terrifying and I don't want to think about that.

The Girl on the Train - a psychological thriller

Hi there!
The Girl on the Train - book that three years ago was at the top of every book ranking. Is't really that good and unusual, or it has a good marketing? I had to check if by myself.
A few weeks ago I had finally an opportunity to read this book. This story is about three different women: Rachel, Anna and Megan.
Rachel is a 32-year old woman that has a problem with an alcohol. She suffers from the divorce. She lost a job, and she constantly has blackouts caused by the excessive alcohol consumption. Every day she takes a train to London. During a trip she always looks through the window and observes surroundings. She focuses on one house where live a couple. She doesn't know them, but she is idealising their life. Rachel named them and created their story. She doesn't know the truth of Megan life and her terrible past.
Anna is a current wife of Rachel's ex-husband - Tom. There is a happiness in her marriage, and she is taking care of her daughter. She is having some problems with Rachel, because she is calling Tom and sometimes she visits them as well as observes their house.
One day everything changed. After a long night out full of alcohol and drugs, Rachel woke up and her body is covered in bruises and blood. She doesn't remember what happened last night, but after she read in a newspaper that Megan is missing, she knows that something bad happen.
Will she discover the truth? Will she stop drinking?
All of that and more you will find out after reading this book.
In my opinion it's worth reading this book. After all the love stories it's time for something else. It's a psychological thriller, full of twist and turns.
After reading it, I understand why it was on the bestseller list.

Another fabulous idea to spend time with family during summer holiday

Hi there!
I am trying not to look through the window, because the weather is not that great. It's raining and it's cold.  I wish I could go back to the warmer months.
In today post I want to present a fabulous place that I visited during summer  - Leonardia.
This place is located in Darłowo and is open from May to September.
Leonardia is a place for the rest and for the fun. It doesn't matter how old are you, because everyone is invited and everyone should find something for them. This place has a huge assortment of around 100 different games. Everything is made of wood, so this theme park is really eco-friendly. Also, all the attractions are hand made. There you can find games for one or few players. There are for everyone, because some of them are easy and others are quite difficult.
The only condition to spend a wonderful time there is a good weather, because everything is outside, so it can get a bit difficult when it's raining. Other than that I think this place is a wonderful attraction. Also, it's not really expensive. Tickets start from 14 zł.
I was there with my family, and we spend a wonderful time and made lots of memories.
Leonardia is a place to visit!

The Fast and the Furious - good series to watch during colder months

Hi there!
Few months ago I decided to watch whole series called 'The Fast and the Furious' or colloquial 'Fast&Furious'. I really enjoyed this series and here are some words about it.
The first film was filmed in 2001 so almost 18 year ago. That's crazy how the time flies by. But back to the film. This series is based on action films that largely concerned with illegal street racing. Every episode represents different story that has something in common with the previous one. That's why I would recommend watching it in a chronological order.
There are a lot of cars and races. The main character Brian O'Conner played by Paul Walker is a very interesting person. Unfortunately this actor committed in 2013 a suicide which in my opinion is a huge loss. He was a wonderful actor that played not only in this series.
"Fast&Furious" is not the most amazing series that has ever been produced. There are a lot of people that think this is a really bad production. I can't agree with that, because while watching this I felt entertainment and I enjoyed it. Also, the music is really good and some songs are well-known to these days.
I would recommend you watch this series and find out for yourself if you like it or not.

Catchy promotions in the cosmetics store - are they real?

Hi there!
Today I would like to go back to the world of cosmetics. More precisely let's talk about the promotions that had place few weeks ago in a really popular cosmetics store - Rossmann. Every 3 to 4 months this shop is offering a promotion which is working like that: when you buy 3 different  make-up products, you will get 55% off your purchase. Doesn't sound amazing? 
One time, I read an article that this action isn't that great. Why? Before the promotions, the prices of make-up are being raise so when the promotion goes life it seems that we are saving a lot of money, which is not true. Yes, we are saving SOME money, but it's not that much that we would think. 
Also, there are a lot of online shops that are selling make-up a lot cheaper than in Rossmann. For example a mascara that normally cost 60 zl, online it costs 25 zl. So even with a promotion we are paying more. 
I would suggest doing research and really think if you are saving money. Also, I feel that people buy more make-up that they need during this offer, and they are not able to use it all up and it goes bad. Beside saving money, they lose it after throwing up old make-up.
To sum up, for me this is all a huge marketing. Everyone wants to earn money, so they are trying everything to achieve that. Don't let them to do that and be more conscious that not everything is how it seems. 
Personally I didn't buy anything during this promotion, and I am proud of that.

The Breakdown by B.A.Paris - book to read on one breath

Hi there!
Few weeks ago I was looking through my bookshelves to find some interesting book to read. My choice has fallen upon a book titled "The Breakdown" written by B.A.Paris. I hadn't aspected to read it in a day but I did. 
This book is about Cass, woman in her thirties. Happily married until one day she saw the car in the wood with the woman sitting inside-the woman who was killed. After this day she's receiving silent calls, and she has the feeling that someone's watching her. Also, she's been forgetting everything. For example where she left her car or was is the password to her computer. 
Why everything changed after the accident? What is happening in her life? Why her husband is still with her? To found out all the answers you need to read this book. 
In my opinion the author did a wonderful job writing this book. It's so good. It will keep you on your toes until the last page. 
B.A.Paris also wrote other books that I will read in the future, because after this one a have great expectations. 
I think that everyone should read this book. For sure is one on my favourite.

Perfect family attraction for Summer - Maze Labyrinth

Hi there!
Today I would like to write few words about the attraction that I had an opportunity to enjoy during this summer. 
The World of Labyrinth in Bliziny is a name of this attraction. This place is located about 30 minutes from Gdańsk and I was there in August. There is a huge Maze Labyrinth as well as Labyrinth made of wood. The Labyrinth is created under licence of Adam Fisher. Adam Fisher is internationally recognised as the world's leading maze designer. Every year he creates different shape of labyrinth. We can read:
"There are lots of people who design mazes, but there's only one man who's considered the Michael Jordan of maze design - a British fellow named Adrian Fisher" - posted by Washington Post. 
This shows his genius when it comes to complete this task. 
I have to say that this year the shape of maze labyrinth was really hard and I straggled a lot with my family to get out. There was also a wood Labyrinth which was a bit easier, but also really interesting and entertaining. In my opinion this attraction is a fabulous way to spend a day with a family. You need to be creative and cooperate with others. It's a perfect task for everyone, for 7 year old boy and for 80 year old adult. 
I would highly recommend this place to everyone but especially to families with children.

Eat, pray love - problems with translation in movies

Hi there!

For one of my courses that I am taking this semester I have to write an essay about problems with translation in movies. To do that I chose 4 different American movies in which the whole action or just a scene is happening in Italy. “Eat, pray, love” is one of them that I would like to present.

This movie is based on the best-selling book with the same title. When it first came out, it received mixed reviews but at the end it was a financial success. This movie is about a woman that has everything - a husband, a house and a successful carier (she is a writer). Despite that she found herself lost and confused about the world around her. One day she decided to change her life, and she went to Italy, India and Indonesia. During her stay in first place she discovered the true pleasure by eating. In second place - the power of prayer. Finally, in Indonesia she fell in love.

Comparing the original version with the Italian dubbing it’s really interesting. In some parts they changed completely dialogues. For example in a scene where a man is teaching main character some Italian words, in Italian dubbing they change it. He is teaching her Latin. There are more scenes like this one. This comparative task is very fascinating.

To sum up, I’m not a huge fun of this movie, because for me it’s quite boring. I recommend watching a few versions and pay attention to the difference in translation. It can turn out to be a very interesting activity.

Different types of traveling

Hi there!
As you probably already know I really enjoy traveling. I had a chance to visit a lot of magnificent places. Because of that I like to read some articles about travel in general. Lately I read an article about different types of traveling. Nowadays it’s really popular to travel just for a food. What does it mean? People choose their destination by looking at the variety of cousin. They are visiting restaurants, trying local food and drink to find out the best options. Another type is to travel to the places where our favorite movie or TV series has been filmed. Also, there are a lot of people that are trying to be eco-friendly, and they choose ecological options. They are playing their trip to be as close to the nature as they can. They travel by a train except the airplane because its better for the nature.
I think that it doesn’t matter what kind of traveling we choose. The most important is just a fact of traveling. Thanks to that you can experience new culture, get to know new people and improve your knowledge of foreign language.

Milan - city of art, fashion and Duomo

Hi there!

Milan - is a city in northern Italy and the second-most populous city in Italy after Rome which I’ve already written about. This city is well-known thanks to the Milan Fashion Week which is happening every year. City of art, fashion and Duomo.

I visited this city last year and I’ve fallen in love. Unfortunately, my stay was really short, because only one day, but even during this short trip I visited a lot and also I’m sure that I will come back to this amazing city. Milan’s Cathedral, which is called Duomo in Italian is the fifth-largest cathedral in the world as well as the most important Gothic architecture in Italy. Seeing it live was one of the items on my bucket list - things to do and see. It’s so beautiful that pictures don’t even capture it. Teatro alla Scala is one of the oldest theaters in the world. It has been open since 1778. Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is the paradise for people who are into luxuries clothes and accessories. There are tons of different brands. You can find Chanel, Gucci, Jimmy Choo boutiques.

Milan is also home to many cultural institutions, museum and art galleries. Pinacoteca di Brera is an art gallery that contains various masterpieces. One of the most precious is the Brera Madonna by Piero della Francesca.

Cuisine is another thing that marks out Milan. You can’t leave this city without tasting risotto alla milanese or cotoletta alla milanese. There are lots of different restaurant and cafeteria so it shouldn’t be any problem finding something for you.

In my opinion Milan is one of the beautiful and interesting places that I’ve ever been. I highly recommend visiting it. I hope to come back in a near future and maybe live there for a while.

Too faced - colorful packaging - cheesy and childishly or cute and funny?

Hi there!
Today, I would like to write about a makeup brand that is well-known, especially in United States, which is Too Faced Cosmetics. This brand was created in 1998 by two men founders. Their vision was to create a makeup line that would celebrate individuality of everyone. Too Faced is sold in more than 30 countries and is one of the top-selling brands. Recently, this brand also arrived to Poland.
What is unique about this brand are the packaging that products come with. They are really colorful and different. Their blushes are in a shape of heart, highlighters look like diamonds. The eye shadows smell and looks like chocolate. Also, there is a line that contain products that smell like peaches. There are a lot of controversy about this brand and especially their packaging. For some, they are kitschy and childlike, resembling cosmetics for young children. Others say they are cute and girlish. How many people, so many opinions. In my opinion some of their collections are really pretty and nice to looks at. In fact, the packaging is not the most important, but the product that is inside. I think that they are overpriced and I prefer other cosmetics brand. I have an eye shadow palette and it’s not that great.
Too Faced has gained its popularity through controversial packaging and not through the quality of the products.

Children addicted to smartphones

Hi there! 
Life without smartphone doesn’t have sense?
Have you ever heard that? That phrase is slowly becoming to summarize our society. People, especially really young one and adolescents spend most of their time on the cellphone. They are using them to connect with friends, to upload photo on their social media platform, to check the weather and others. Because of that, they don’t have time to meet their friends in “real life”. It’s really sad and I wish we could do something with this situation. I think that, nowadays smartphone are essential in our everyday life to connect and check information. We can use them on regular bases only when we find a healthy balance, and we are able to manage our time. We can’t be addicted to the object. It doesn’t have any sense. We are the human being, and we can’t depend on inanimate objects.
We should be aware of the dark side of the smartphones. There is a lot of violence and hate on the internet. We have to keep our eyes on children and don’t let them use their smartphones all the time. They will be thankful later.

My biggest fear and a movie “Now is Good”

Hi there!
Recently I watched a movie “Now is Good” which is about a girl who is dying of leukemia. She is trying to enjoy her remanding life by doing things that she always dreamed of, her bucket list. She falls in love, she committed a crime and much more. This movie makes me think about one of my biggest fears which is death. I am really scared of that. Maybe not my own but of people that I love. Even from the earliest year I always reacted with a cry when someone mentioned that he will die one day. I still, years later react the same way. I wish that we could be immortal. I really love my life and I am trying to enjoy every moment of it because we never know when the death will come for us. 

This movie was sad but also predictable. In my opinion is better for a slightly younger recipients. With this post I wanted to address a short massage. We should try to be happy. To spend as much time as we can with people that we love. Don’t fight but love. We need to remember that we have only one life. We should try to life it in the best way possible.

Toruń - awesome way to spend the weekend

Hi there!
Toruń - one of the oldest city in Poland. This city is located in the northern Poland, on the Vistula river. This city is well-known thanks to the famous and delicious gingerbreads. Also, it is a birthplace of Nicolaus Copernicus. There is a lot of architecture from the gothic times. One of the most popular is the Church of SS. John the Evangelist and John the Baptist with the largest medieval ring bell in Poland. Another one are the city fortifications with the Leaning Tower. Also, there is a really nice Old town where you can go for a walk and enjoy the beauty of this city. University of Nicolaus  Copernicus in Toruń is well-known. I studied there for 3 years, and I was really happy with my choice. This university is really good and the atmosphere there is really friendly.
To sum up I really like this city and when I have the opportunity I go for a weekend to meet my friends and enjoy this city.

Kylie cosmetics makeup - worth the hype?

Today I would like to share with you my opinion about the Kylie Jenner makeup line.
I am sure that most of the people, specially ones that are spending a lot of time online know who Kylie Jenner is. Two years ago she released her own makeup line. It was a huge success. Her first release which contains of her most known lip kits sold out in 10 sec. First few months it was almost impossible to get her products. What is a lip kit and how much does it cost? It consists of a lip liner and a matte liquid lipstick and it costs 29$. First she came out with a few colors and every month she created new ones.
Now there are a lot of different eyeshadow palettes, blushes, highlighters and so much more. Lately she even created concealer and makeup brushes set. There is a lot to choose from. A have in my collection 2 lip kits and I think that they are really good but not worth the price. You can buy a similar one from Colourpop for only 6$. Her formula of liquid lipstick is quite drying so it can be a problem for a lot of people. I also tried her highlighter and I really enjoyed it.
To sum up, in my opinion her products are nice. She produces a good quality makeup. The only problem are the prices. Products are overpriced. If you don’t mind that I would recommend trying this brand and you will find out on your own.

What women want - the ability of reading someone thoughts

Hi there! 

What women want is another movie that I recently watched. Nick - the main character is an alpha male and he treats women like his property. One day he wakes and comes to realize that he is able to hear all women thoughts. This helps him realized that most women, especially at work dislike him and consider him as a playboy. A therapist encourages him to use this ability as his advantage. He is trying to understand women and unexpectedly he fell in love. Will he change and become a good man? You have to watch this movie to find out. 

After watching this movie, I was thinking about this ability. I think that it wouldn’t be a good thing to be able to read somebody’s thoughts. Sometimes when we meet someone we think this and that about him, or she but when we get to know better this person we often change our opinion. When someone will read our thoughts at first, probably would want to spend time with us and won’t give us a chance to change. With that I think that this is so much better that we are not able to read or analyse others thoughts.

Watching YouTube videos - awesome way to improve foreign languages

Hi there! 

Today I would like to share another way to improve foreign languages - YouTube. I started watching videos on YouTube about 7 years ago. My favourite ones to watch are about makeup, clothes and vlogs in which people show their everyday life. This helped me so much with an understanding of different accent and in general with an oral language. I try to watch people from England, United States and Australia or New Zealand to have a variety of different pronunciation and accents. Not only I can learn something new about makeup or find out a new product but also learn new words and broaden my vocabulary. I don’t fell guilty when I watch them in my free time because I am listening to a foreign language. I also watch Italian and Spanish YouTube. I recommend this “method” to everyone, to find a topic that you are interested in and watch them in a foreign language. There are millions of videos on YouTube, so I’m sure that everyone will find something.

New York City - Gossip Girl locations

Hi there! 

Today I came out with an idea to write about my stay in New York City. I was there 5 years ago. For me, this was a dream come true, because I was always dreaming of New York. In this time I was a huge fun of the series Gossip Girl. Because of that I was determined to visit all the places where there were filming different scenes. I managed to do that and I saw a lake in Central Park where  Blair from Gossip Girl was feeding ducks and I walked through Upper East Side where Serena and Blair where leaving. Apart of that I also saw Statue of Liberty and entered the Empire State Building. 

When I came back home I found out that there is a special walking tour of Gossip Girl locations in New York. Also there is an app for a smartphone. I am sure that I will come back there one day I will try to visit every place of this beautiful and magnificent city. I totally fallen in love with New York City and I think that this is the best place to live and be successful in a life.

Jeffree Star - cosmetics brand created by a man

Hi there! 

Today I would like to share with you some information about a cosmetic brand - Jeffree Star Cosmetics. Creator of this brand, as a name suggest, is Jeffree Star. He is a really controversial guy. He used to sing and he recorded some well known songs which are Prom Night and Beauty Killer. 

He has always been interested in makeup. As a child Star began regularly experimenting with his mother’s makeup and he wear it to school when he was in junior high. His looks are really colorful and out of this world. He shaved his eyebrows and often he draws them using highlighter. Also his body is all covered with tattoos. 

In 2016 he created his own makeup brand. It contains matte liquid lipsticks, regular lipstick, highlighters, eyeshadow palettes and lip scrubs. Lately he released a new eyeshadow palette that sold out in 3 minutes! 

His goal is to “create products that do exactly what they say and that actually last”. I own few liquid lipsticks and highlighter and I really enjoy them. His product are really good and they have a huge range of people that love them. 

I think that this is really interesting that a brand own by a man is more successful that some brands own by women. This shows how our world is developing and that there are no more boundaries. Everyone can create whatever they want.

„Po prostu przyjaźń” - how to maintain a friendship

Hi there!

Lately I watched a polish romantic comedy “Po prostu przyjaźń”. This movie is about a group of friend that have to face with a lot of life’s adversities. To be honest I’m not a fan of polish movies but this one is quite good. Actors that are playing are well known and this makes this movie more interesting. 

This movie inspired me to write a few words about a friendship. Nowadays, in a world of Internet and social media sometimes it’s really hard to find a good friend. Everyone seems to be so busy and doesn’t have time to spend it with their friends. Because of that a lot of friendships are on extinction. This it really important to care about others, to nurse our friends.

Sometimes this can be very hard, especially when we are moving. 4 years ago I moved to Torun and left all my friends in my hometown. At the begging it was OK, because when I went home to visit my family I also visited my friends. Unfortunately when the time fly by it became harder. Our life changed, and we didn’t have a lot to talk. 

We have to remember that it’s really important to care about our friends and try to spend with them as many times as we can. We don’t want to be alone!

Rome - one of most beautiful city that I’ve ever been

Hi there! Today I would like to share with you my thoughts about the capital of Italy - Rome. Last year I went to this city with my friend for a 3 days. When we got off the train we already fallen in love with this city. We visited the most important monument as a Colosseum, Roman Forum, The Trevi Fountain and much more. We also went to Vatican. 

For me this city has a magical atmosphere. The architecture from the Ancient combine with the Medieval and Neoclassicism create a wonderful integrity. We were walking through narrow street to late evening hours and admired the beauty of this city. I know that I have to come back to a Rome and spend there more days. 

In my opinion everyone should at least one time go to Rome. Despite the fact that there are tons of tourist every day this city gives an opportunity to stand and think. To think about our life and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us. After my short stay in Rome I felt relaxed and less stressed. It is something about this city that make you want to live. 

This trip was one of the best. I am sure that in the near future I will visit this city again.

7 pounds - a really good film to watch

Hi there! 
Recently I had some more time and I watched a few films. One, that really stands out from the rest is a movie with a title “Seven pounds”. This movie is from 2008 and it’s in the 50th place out of 500 in the ranking of the films on Filmweb. Will Smith starts as a man who had an accident in which 7 people died including his fiancé. Now he wants to change a life of 7 people by donating them his own vital organs. By stealing his brother federal IRS identification he is able to find out sick people and to visit them and check if they are a good people. During this process he fell in love. Is he going to commute suicide or would he change his mind? You have to watch this film to find out. 
In my opinion this movie is really good because after you done with watching it you start thinking about life. What if...? It appealed to me, and I was quite shocked how it ends. It also shows how important it’s to be a good person and also to remember to appreciate our life’s that can end in one second. 
I think that everyone should watch this masterpiece and then spend 5 minutes and just think about their lives and be happy of the people and things that surround them.

Make-up is one-size-fits-all - what does it mean?

Hi there!

Today I would like to write about, in my opinion, really controversial topic which are men that wear make-up. Lately, on Instagram and other social media platform we can see a lot of boys that are putting make-up on their face, and they are really proud of that. Is it normal? Is make-up for everyone? As I mentioned earlier, I am really interested in make-up in general. I love trying new products, put them to the test and find the one that works the best for me. I am following a lot of beauty account on Instagram, and they are inspiring me to create new looks. Especially in 2017 the number of man with make-up increased. To be honest sometimes they can do their make-up better than women do. Usually there are a different sexual orientation but I don’t want to talk about that. Recently Patrick Starrr a really known make-up artist collaborated with Mac Cosmetics. His quote is: Make-up is a one-size-fits-all. I think that this statement is very accurate. At the end of the day, it’s not important who wears make-up, what colour of the complexion has or what religions profess. What really matters whether is a good person. I personally don’t mind men that are putting make-up. Sure, it’s shocking, however, let people live the way they want.

Bologna - city of the towers

Hi there! 
Today I would like to write some facts about the city in Italy - Bologna where I spend 6 months during the Erasmus Program. To start of Bologna is the largest city of the Emilia-Romagna Region. It’s famous because of the oldest University in Europe - University of a Bologna founded in 1088. Bologna is called “la dotta, la grassa, la rossa” and that means la dotta - because of the university; la grassa - because of the fat cousin and la rossa - because of the red roofs and also the red cars - Lamborghini and Maserati which are produced in Bologna. This city is really interesting. The small streets with hundreds of different restaurants as well as huge and beautiful monuments. My personal favourite is the San Petronio Basilica which is the tenth-largest church in the world. I am in love with this city because there are a lot of different attraction. You can visit a museum, go and take a look at the “Small Venezia”, walk and breathe the air of this lovely city. Also, it’s really attractive for the young people, because the clubs are one of the best that I have ever been. I spent a really good time in this city, and I am sure that I will visit it again. I totally recommend visiting this city as well as different parts of Italy of which I will write later.

New Year Resolution - are they worth making?

New Year is just around the corner. This year, unfortunately, the New Year’s Eve I am spending in bed because I have a pharyngitis and an antibiotic for ten days. To be honest, I am not that sad because I am not a huge fun of the New Year’s Eve. Back to the topic. New Year - new me. Probably the most use phrase at the beginning of the New Year. Lots of people want to lose weight, go to the gym, start a healthy lifestyle, travel more and learn new foreign languages. These are the resolution that we are planning to achieve during the whole year. Some of them we stop doing in less than a month or even we don’t even start to change anything in our lives. You may be wondering, is it even worth to think about the New Year resolution when we already know that we can’t achieve tchem?

In my opinion YES. I prepare my list every year, and yes - it’s true that in March I already forgot about all the things that I wanted to change in my life but it doesn’t discourage me. This year I am really determined to change something in my life as well as achieve some goals. I think that the most important thing is to remember that we make them to change something in our life not in someone else. Don’t share them with a lot of people. Believe in yourself, and, I am sure that you are capable of achieve at list one point from your list.
