Lately, I finally found some time to watch a movie. I spent a lovely time with my friend, and we watched a Christmas movie — Christmas with the Kranks. This movie is about a family that decided to skip Christmas and go for a cruise to Bahamas. Their neighbours are shook, and they are trying to change their decision. A day before the cruise their daughter informed them that she is coming home for Christmas with her new fiancé. They have less than 24 hours to prepare everything. Will they make it on time? You have to watch this movie to find out!
I decided to write about this movie not only because it is funny and awesome to watch during Christmas time but mainly to mention the magical atmosphere that lasts during the festive period. I think that everyone is happier and also they want to help each other. This is very clearly seen in this movie. Even though not everyone was nice, thanks to the atmosphere of Christmas they quickly forgave each other and were able to enjoy together this time of year. I wish that this mood could last all year long! I personally love Christmas time, and I am really happy to come back home and spend time with my family. We have to remember that it is really important to try every day to become the best version of ourselves and appreciate the people that surround us.

Kiko Milano - Italian cosmetic brand

Today I would like to present few facts about one of my favorite Italian brands regarding cosmetics - Kiko Milano. Recently this brand is becoming more and more popular in Poland but also in other European countries as well as in United States. In this year Kiko is celebrating 20 years of being on the market. The products that are in the assortment of the brand are inexpensive but very good quality. Thanks to that, all the time that they are opening new stores. Recently they opened one on the Times Square in New York.
The owner of this brand is a really successful man, because before creating Kiko he developed in Italy brands like Zara or Stradivarius. In Kiko you can find products like foundations, concealers, eye shadows, highlighters, lipsticks, brushes and many more. They are also carrying skin care. You should familiarize yourself with the assortment of this brand, because you wouldn’t be disappointed.

Listy do M 3 - new movie, is it worth seeing?
Hi there!
I would like to share with you my opinion about the newest part of one of the most popular polish romantic comedy - Listy do M 3. Few weeks ago I went to the cinema with my friend to watch this movie. I have already seen the other 2 parts, so I thought that it was necessary for me to see that one. The cinema hall was full of people. Fortunately we were smart enough, and we ordered tickets with advance. Thanks to that we had a really good seats. Back to the movie. In my opinion it wasn’t the best. I think that the story was a bit exaggerated and unreal. Also, there were new characters which didn’t appeal to me. I me opinion this part was made just to earn more money by the company and it wasn’t well-thought-out. To sum up I don’t think that this movie is terrible that it’s a waste of time to watch it but I wouldn’t spend money for the ticket to it watch it again. For me it deserved the rating 5 out of 10.

Camp America - is it worth the try?

Today I would like to share with you my experience that I have with the Program Camp America. I took part in it 2 years ago. During this program you are going to USA for about 10 weeks and you work on a camp. You have two options to choose from. You can work as a Campower so you are going to help with preparing and serving food or Counsellor so you are going to play with children. I choose the first option because I already had some experience working as a waitress.
The camp which choose me was located in the Wisconsin state. Small camp in the forest with a beautiful lake. This camp was a girl scout camp. Besides me there was one girl from Mexico that was working with me. She didn’t English, so I had an opportunity to practice my Spanish. 14 girls were working as a Counsellors and there were from all over the world, from Scotland, Australia, England.
For me this job was all right but a bit boring and stressful sometimes. Besides that, I really enjoyed my stay at camp, because it was a fantastic opportunity to practice my oral English. Every day, I was using this language and after this 3 month I noticed a huge difference with it.
I think that if you are not afraid of being alone for about 3 months in a foreign country as well as you are ready to work hard you should definitely visit the side of Camp America and find out more information about this program and maybe take a part in it.
For me it was a great experience and I would recommend trying it for your own.

Lipsticks - MAC Cosmetics
Hi there!
Today I decided to share with you some facts about my favourite lipsticks by the brand called MAC Cosmetics. The company has been in the market since 1984. In their offer there are eight the most popular finishes. First of all is the amplified - highly pigmented and long-wearing. I have 4 lipsticks in my collection with this finish, for me they are really nice because they don’t dry out my lip, but they smudge quite easily. Next - cremesheen - they are extremely creamy and glossy. I have 3 of them. They are a bit sheer and not long-wearing but still a wonderful lipstick. Frost is another finish - I don’t have any of this kind, because as the name suggests they have a metallic finish which I’m not a fan of. Another - glaze, I also don’t have any with this finish, because they are the most shear of all of them and I think that spending 86 zl on lipstick that you can barely see it’s too much. Luster - more like a gloss finish with a wide range of colours. I have 2 of them in my collection, they are perfect for everyday wear. Satin - one of my favourite finishes - they are long-wearing and offer high opacity without being dry. 4 found a place in my collection, I love them so much. Also, I have them in a very wearable colours. Second to last is the matte finish - they are really pigmented and long-wearing. They used to be really dry but fortunately they changed the formula. I have 8 of them in my collection so that is for sure my favourite finish. Last but not least is the retro matte - as you already know they are “sisters” of the matte’s one. They are more drying, and they can stay on your lips all day long. I have 2 of them and I like them but you have to be prepared for the extreme drying on your lips. My collection is still growing, at the moment I have 23 but I’m planning on buying more.

Washington - what to visit while you are there?

Today I decided to post some information about one of my favourite place - Washington, capital of the United States of America.
This city is huge so you have to be prepared for a long walk. You should start your day with my favourite place - The Lincoln Memorial where you can see a statue of the 16th president of the U.S. On the other side you can see the Washington Monument surrounded by a 50 American flags which represent 50 states of America. Then you must go and take a look at the White House. The World War II Memorial is another of my favourite place to visit. You can sit there and relax because there is a huge fountain also surrounded by a 50 arms for every state. You can’t forget about the large number of museums! I would suggest visiting the National Museum of Natural History and National Museum of American History when you can for example see the exhibit of First Ladies of America where you can look at their dresses. Unfortunately, when I went there this summer they still haven’t put a dress of Melania Trump.

Girl online by Zoe Sugg - reading books in original language?

Today I decided to share with you my opinion about the book that I recently read Girl Online written by a famous youtuber Zoe Sugg - Zoella. The story is about a girl that is dealing with difficulties of the teenage life as well as the panic attacks. She decided to share her problem with others by writing an anonymous blog where she can be herself.
During her stay in New York, where she went with her parents, she fell in love with a musician Noeh. She thought that everything is going to be ok, but this, what happen after she returned home was the worst nightmare.

I would highly recommend doing it to everyone.

Gdańsk - a beautiful city that I recommend
Hi there!
As you know from my first post I am from Gdańsk. Today I would like to give you some facts about this beautiful city. First of all this city is surrounded by the Baltic Sea. With Gdynia and Sopot they form Tricity (Trójmiasto). Gdańsk is quite a big city with a lot of different districts. The old town is really beautiful with reconstructed buildings in historical style. The main street is called Long Street (ulica Długa) where you can find a famous Neptune’s Fountain. There is lots of restaurants as well as coffeehouses. My favourite is Retro which is located on Piwna Street. I would highly recommend this place if you want to drink a good coffee and eat amazing and healthy cake or other dessert. I think that everyone should visit Gdańsk. In summer there are lots of turists that come from all over the world. Also during this time the city hosts St.Dominic's Fair which is really popular.
I recommend to visit this beautiful city. I am sure that you wouldn't be disappointed.

What beauty really means?
Hi there!
Last week during Italian language classes we were discussing what beauty means. This topic sparked reflection in me and I started to think about it. In my opinion this subject is really difficult to discuss. For everyone it means something else. For one person beauty is everything that surround us every day. For another - models and women from the cover are the only reflection of the beauty. What it means to me? For me a beautiful woman with a make - up on is beautiful. But what happen when she takes off her "mask"? Is she still beautiful? It all depends how we are consider ourselves. If we fell good and comfortable in our own skin and body. We all should look at each other and consider ourselves as a beauty, beautiful people from the outside as well as the inside. Because at the end of the day it doesn't metter how we look, what really metter is our character and if we are a good people with a warm heart.

A Private Affair by Lesley Lokko

Today I would like to present a book that I recently read. A Private Affair by Lesley Lokko is a book that shows what is love, friendship and a difficult life with a military.
Four women that have one thing in common - they were or they are in love with a soldier. Sam, a beautiful woman who at the age of 37 is still single. One day during a vacation she met a man that totally changed her life. She loves him but at the same time why she is afraid? Abby, a perfect wife and mother that still can't find herself. Meagan, woman with a low self-assessment. And Dani, desperately looking for a love.
How does life treat them? Will they finally be happy? This and more you will find in a book.
For me this story is really interesting because it shows a life with a soldier from different perspective.
I would recommend this book to everybody who wants to read a good and interesting story.

Colourpop highlighters - yes or no?

Today I decided to write something about one of my favourite online brand which is Colourpop.
To be more specific I am going to write a short review about there "most blinding highlighters".
I have 3 of them in my collection and I have to say that there are amazing. They have a weird consistency, it feels more like a mousse then a typical powder. They are really inexpensive because they cost 8$ which is around 30 zł. The variety of the colors and finishes is also incredible. My favourite color is Flexitarian. It looks awesome with every look and it's really blinding which is always a good fact.
I would highly recommend to try at least one color of their super shook highlighters. You wouldn't be disappointed.

I am studying italian philology which is so interesting and I totally recomend this degree course to everybody. I was born in Gdańsk but last 3 years I spent at Toruń where I was studying and now I moved to Poznań.
What this blog is gonna by about? I have some passions. First of all I love travelling and learning foreign languages. I am lucky to say that during this 23 years I visited a lot of different countries and even continents. At the moment I know 3 languages which are English, Spanish and Italian but in the future I am planning to learn at least 2 more.
In my free time I love playing with makeup. Cosmetics and all the beauty world which is nowadays so popular thanks to YouTube and beauty influencer are my passion. I love putting on makeup, playing with different colors and formulas.
Another thing that I really enjoy is - after a long day - lay in my bed and watch a movie or read a book.
On my blog I would like to write some reviews of different beauty products as well as some films that I recently saw and books that I recently read. Also I would like to present some facts and information about cities that I have visited.
